Channel Comment Moderation
Channel Comment Moderation helps protect the discussion group linked to a Telegram channel. It can use AI to identify risky comments and can also remove comment spam without an AI call.
What it can remove
You can enable any of these AI review categories:
- Ads and promotional messages
- Traffic-diversion links, invitations, contact details, and referral content
- Insults, harassment, and profanity
The bot reviews the sender's display name together with the comment text. You can choose the AI model used by this module.
Anti-spam
Anti-spam runs independently from AI review. You can configure:
- The time window used to count comments from one user
- The maximum number of comments allowed in that window
- How long identical comments are treated as repeated content
When anti-spam is triggered, the comment is deleted. Anti-spam deletions do not mute the user and do not count toward the AI moderation mute threshold.
Deletion and mute behavior
Comments matched by an enabled AI category are deleted automatically. The bot tracks these AI moderation deletions per user. When the count becomes greater than your configured threshold, the user is muted permanently.
How to configure it
- Add the bot to the discussion group linked to your channel and make it an administrator.
- Open
/manageand select the discussion group. - Bind an AI Key to the group if you want to use AI review.
- Open Channel Comment Moderation.
- Choose the AI model and enable the categories you need.
- Enable and configure anti-spam if needed.
- Set the AI deletion threshold for permanent mute, then save.
You may use anti-spam by itself without enabling an AI category.
Requirements and scope
The bot needs permission to delete messages. Permanent mute also requires permission to restrict members.
This module only processes comments in a channel's linked discussion group that directly reply to a channel post. It does not moderate ordinary group messages.
