EXIF Reader
Askify AI Bot includes an EXIF Reader inside its Telegram Mini App.
You can use it to inspect image metadata such as capture time, device model, lens details, orientation, GPS data, and other available EXIF fields.
What You Can Do
- Select one or more local images and inspect their EXIF metadata
- Check capture time and camera or phone model
- View GPS information if the original image contains location metadata
- Compare metadata across multiple photos in one place
- Reply to a photo in Telegram with
/exifand let the bot read that image for you
Common EXIF Information
Depending on the image, you may see fields such as:
- Capture time
- Device or camera model
- Lens model
- Orientation
- ISO
- Exposure time
- Aperture
- Focal length
- GPS coordinates
Some images do not contain EXIF metadata. Screenshots, edited exports, or heavily compressed social media images may have little or no metadata left.
How To Use It In The Mini App
- Open the EXIF Reader page.
- Tap Add images.
- Select one or more local images.
- Review the parsed metadata list for each image.
How To Use It In Telegram Chat
You can also use the /exif command directly in Telegram:
- Reply to a photo or image file.
- Send
/exif. - Askify AI Bot will download that image, read its EXIF metadata, and return the result in chat.
If you send /exif without replying to an image, the bot will show a shortcut button that opens the Mini App reader.
Notes
- EXIF visibility depends on whether the original file still contains metadata
- Some messaging apps or editing tools remove EXIF data automatically
- GPS fields only appear if location metadata exists in the original image
Commands
/exif: Open the EXIF Reader or read EXIF from a replied image
